The new website is up, and the archives are ready for you to explore! Welcome to the Teak Ladies Historical Society and online forum. The forum is new also! We are proud to introduce a place where people around the world can share ideas, tell stories, and share pictures. The Teak Ladies Society is a volunteer-based group, but we will find time to answer questions or post incoming information. We are so happy to be developing to the point of expansion and seeing our Teak Ladies stories unfold. If you haven’t yet, explore our website. The treasures within are fantastic, including pictures from 1939 at the Ah King Shipyard, where the Teak Ladies were originally built. Our organization is a part of the Toledo Community Boat house and the Port of Toledo, so if you are interested in learning about how you could help support our work, please click the Ways you can help link above, to find out how! We also accept emails and phone calls. A special thank you to the Port of Toledo, here in Oregon for their good works and superior support to our community and our mission to preserve the stories of the Teak Ladies. The Port of Toledo has two Teak Ladies in their care and a third is privately held by a member of our group. It is a dream for us to see all the teak ladies lined up along the Yaquina – showing off their beauty and timeless craftsmanship. We look forward to the discussion start, Please register and introduce yourself!
